Strictly necessary, and what that means
The first three exist so the site can work at all: so you stay signed in, so forms cannot be forged, and so your cookie choice is remembered. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations these do not require consent, because without them the service you asked for cannot be provided. They are not used for analytics, profiling or advertising.
Optional analytics
If you accept, we count events such as “a breakdown was produced” and “the merge was turned on”, so that we know which parts of the tool people actually use. These counts are aggregate. We do not use them to identify you, we do not build a profile, and we do not share them with advertisers — there is no advertising on this site.
If you reject, nothing optional is set, and the tool works exactly the same.
Local storage
We keep one value in your browser’s local storage: the cookie choice above. Nothing about your jobs or your account is stored in the browser beyond what is needed for the page you are on.
Third parties
There are no advertising networks, social media widgets or tracking pixels on this site. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than a third-party font service. Payment pages are hosted by our payment processor and are covered by their own notice, which you will see when you reach them.
Your browser
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop you from staying signed in.
