Why the order costs money

The free plan gives you the trade list. Being told a job involves three trades, on its own, only makes it sound worse than it is — it is the shape of the problem, not a plan.

What turns it into a plan is two sentences: these two are usually the same person, and the electrics have to be in before the units go in, or they come back out. That is the sequence board, and it is the only thing here you can take to a conversation with a builder and use.

One avoided redo covers a year of it. That is the whole argument.

The watermark on free breakdown cards never covers the safety notice or the ask-about wording. Those are visible on every plan, always, including when the tool stops.

What the allowance is not

The monthly allowance is a measure of how much of the service you use. It is not money, not stored value, cannot be redeemed for cash and is not transferable. It has no value outside this service.

Unused allowance does not carry into the next month. There are no top-up packs and no stored balance. If you run out regularly, the answer is a larger plan.

What you are agreeing to

  • It renews automatically. A monthly plan renews every month and a yearly plan every year, at the same price, until you cancel.
  • Cancelling takes a few clicks. It is done from your billing page, in the same number of steps it took to subscribe, with no phone call and no email required. Access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
  • We tell you before a renewal. You get a reminder before each renewal, and before the first renewal of any yearly plan, with the amount and the date.
  • Price changes are notified in advance and never applied to a period you have already paid for.
  • You have a statutory cancellation right. Consumers have 14 days to cancel. Because access is immediate, that right ends once supply has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement — which is why there are two separate, unticked boxes at checkout.   • Nothing in the terms affects your statutory rights. See the Terms.
